Assistant Manager – Securities Settlements

We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Securities Settlements to support the execution, control, and continuous improvement of the end-to-end trade settlement process across multiple markets and asset classes within a global investment banking environment.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, minimizing settlement risk, and maintaining regulatory compliance across international markets.

Support the settlement lifecycle of financial transactions across multiple asset classes, ensuring timely execution, exception management, risk mitigation, and operational excellence in a fast-paced global environment.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the end-to-end settlement process across multiple markets and asset classes.
• Monitor and resolve unmatched or failed transactions.
• Coordinate with custodians, brokers, counterparties, and internal teams to ensure timely settlements.
• Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and market requirements.
• Support operational projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Strengthen internal controls and risk mitigation practices.
• Contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support reporting and analysis related to settlement activities and operational performance.

👤 Required Profile

• 2–3 years of experience in financial services, operations, or reconciliations.
• Experience in Securities Settlements or Capital Markets operations.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Derivatives, and Commodities products.
• Familiarity with settlement platforms such as DTC, Euroclear, or Clearstream is highly desirable.
• Understanding of market regulations and standards including SEC, CSDR, SWIFT, and ISO messaging.
• Technical knowledge of SQL, VBA, Python, Power BI, or R is desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure within a global operational environment.
